About Danielle
Baltimore native Danielle Sinclair is a multidisciplinary violinist, violist, and teaching artist based in the Tri-State area.
​
An active orchestral musician, Danielle has performed across the United States with ensembles and festivals including the Marrowstone Music Festival, Miami Music Festival, and the National Orchestral Institute. In the Tri-State area, she has appeared with the Bergen County, Central Jersey, Plainfield, Summit, and Ridgewood Symphonies, and most recently served as Concertmaster-in-Residence with the South Orange Symphony for two seasons.

Danielle’s work has been recognized with numerous honors, including a Grammy nomination for Ruggles, Stucky & Harbison: Orchestral Works (2018) as a member of the National Orchestral Institute + Festival Orchestra and Best Solo Instrumental Performance award at the Walt Disney World Night of Stars Talent Competition.

In addition to orchestral work, Danielle is an in-demand musician for weddings and events, collaborating with leading music organizations such as the Highline Quartet, Keyport Quartet, Music Boutique NYC, and Treble and Bass Productions.
​
As a theatre musician, Danielle frequently serves as Concertmaster for regional and touring productions, including Big League Productions’ 2022 U.S. national tours of South Pacific and An American in Paris.

Committed to music as a tool for social change, Danielle is on faculty at the Paterson Music Project, an El Sistema–inspired program in Paterson, NJ. She also maintains a private studio grounded in a collaborative, student-centered teaching approach.
Danielle holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the Cali School of Music, where she studied with Michael Ludwig, and a Bachelor of Arts in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies from Montclair State University.​
