Reviews Soprano Danielle Sinclair, who recently won top prize in the Opera at Florham competition, opened with some Handel arias. She showed great care with little technical matters .... Sinclair absolutely knocked everyone out with "Grossmächtige Prinzessin" from Richard Strauss's "Ariadne auf Naxos.'' It is probably the most difficult coloratura aria ever composed, certainly demanding the most endurance. Sinclair ... climbed from height to height to finally receive an ovation. Paul Somers, The Star-Ledger
Tuesday night's performance by the Seattle Symphony Orchestra of Bach's Cantata No. 140 "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme" for chorus and orchestra .... Soprano Danielle Sinclair sang sweetly .... Douglas McLennan, Seattle Post-Intelligencer
The beloved cantata "Wachet auf'' (Sleepers, wake) also featured an authentic baroque touch: an all-male choir, with well-schooled Northwest Boychoir trebles and altos, and tenors and basses from the Seattle Symphony Chorale. The three fine soloists were Danielle Sinclair (soprano), Jeffrey Francis (tenor) and Norman Smith (bass). Melinda Bargreen, The Seattle Times
"Gilbert and Sullivan a la Carte" was originally presented by Pacific Lyric Opera last summer at the John Bastyr College auditorium. The cast features attractive voices abetted by touches of comic talent. Danielle Sinclair is especially good with some insane melisma from "The Pirates of Penzance." One vowel is made to stretch itself to the snapping point over hundreds of thrilling, trilling notes. Joe Adcock, Seattle Post-Intelligencer
