Stirring Patriotic Marches! Sentimental Tear-Jerkers! Dazzling Vocal Display! Enter the emotion-charged musical world of the Civil War Era. Join us for an entertaining hour as we explore aspects of American musical life in the 1860s, from the Concert Hall to the Dance Hall, from the family parlor to the political grandstand. Soprano Danielle Sinclair and pianist Michael Jacobsen portray renowned performers of the day Adelina Patti and Harry Sanderson, presenting such period favorites as Home Sweet Home and Battle Hymn of the Republic, as well as an assortment of popular tunes, dances, ballads and operatic arias.
$3 donation to Ironworks Hill.
After three miles (two from the turnpike
exit) keep going straight (the road is now High Street) instead of following
